cricket fans Indian style

Grew up watching the game , like all Indians fell in love with the game and surprisingly now not earlier , it's a passion.
Maybe because i played the game seriously later in life and got really involved. But with all the passion the scary part is that when we lose like we did yesterday it hurts more. A bit silly as one has gotten older and we should be more pragmatic and practical, but what annoys me is that with all the bluster that our team shows they very rarely put in a professional show.
Our fantastic captain has not contributed much in the last so many games, he is more interested in his average and remaining not out.
The amount of money they have all made is unreal, i don't begrudge them that, in fact may they earn more. But at least do justice to the reasons why you are earning the money in the first place. Some of our players are so taken up by the moneyand earnings that they just do not care. And the sad part is that nothing will or can be done as they have earned the money so who cares.
It is your job to play cricket and do it professionally. If any other professional would not give his 100% then we would pull them up so why not our cricketers.
I know am rambling but like a lot on Indians i love the game and our team too much to see them lose like this.
Where do they show that they are the No. 1 or 2 team.
Am not even going to talk about the fielding as the less said the better , at my age am a better fielder than some of them.

Come on India please play as professionals and do justice to yourselves and your fans.

Going past 40

turned 42 a few days back and instead of partying was laid up in bed, did get a bit upset but then hey all the bad stuff finished on the first day so now the rest of the year is going to be fun.
You know growing up in years is not all that cool, besides the fact that one has to start behaving like an adult ( at some point ) the responsibilities get you man.
Not that I'm complaining , i think i have managed pretty well but hey give me a year of just chilling out. My mother and i have decided when my son turns 18 we are going to have a year of free time and just me. Ha ha as if.
Talking to my cousin the other day and we both agreed that 20 was fun, and we did a lot too. So the consensus is that they who say 40's are the best years of my life are liars or they did not have fun in their earlier days.
Actually leave my complaints aside, the best part is watching my hero son grow. not a cake walk but oh so much of fun. he is a handful and growing years are difficult for him but he is fun, and guess turning 42 is worth it when i see him.
